Any party is incomplete without colorful and attractive decorations especially engagement parties. The party decoration should be such that everyone looks around in awe. Greet the guests at the entrance by making a welcome banner at the door. Hang bunches of colorful balloons around the banner and ribbons as well. For a romantic touch to the party, you could also create luminaries by placing votive candles anchored in sand inside of small paper bags to make it look pretty. Fresh flowers and loose petals look beautiful and add a fragrant aroma to the air.

Decorate the hall with streamers, as they are inexpensive and can be used in a great number of ways. Place a balloon or two at the point where more than one streamer meets. You might want to have childhood photographs of the couple, also a poster collage of pictures of the couple as they grew up and hang it in a place which is visible for everyone. Adding to the theme, of the party, is music. Try to have music , which is theme sponsored. As for the table decorations, pick out something that is theme related, use a lot of different and colorful candles for the tables and the napkins can be folded in any fancy way and be put in the glasses. Use pretty table cloths and might as well put flowers in the center of the table with dim light bulbs. You might also consider a heart shaped cake with the couple’s names on it.
