Reusing the old furniture in home is the best possible option in the current era of exuberating expenditures. If you think that your stools do not fit the other contemporary or traditional look of your house, do not discard them but revamp them with style. Do not give up on them and revamp your bar stool with style to fit it with the existing furniture. You can paint and redesign your bar stool in endless ways. Bar stools have an edge over other furniture because they are flexible and can be customized them in terms of their frames and cushions accordingly. Some fresh and new paint can give your bar stools a classic look.

As you are going to use the spray paints, move your bar stools outside and preferably on a drop cloth. Using sprays in confined areas is not recommended. Remove the cushions from your bar stools as you are going to customize the cushions as well. If the cushion is screwed on your bar stool then unscrew it from the frame. In case your barstools have upholstered seat and back, cover them with plastic tap. Clean your barstools thoroughly to remove grime and grease from them to avoid any hindrance in the paint. Now apply spray primer that are appropriate for your barstools. Metal and wood primers are available in spray form. Apply two to three coats of these primers to vanish the original finish of the stools. Let the primer dry. Apply spray paint as they can mimic the painted wood and metal finished. Let them dry. Lastly, apply the spray or brush on a polyurethane topcoat to help protect the finish.
Revamp your bar stool with style by working on the cushions as well. If you have removable cushions, replace them with the cushions you have purchased. However you can unscrew the seat and place it downward on the chosen new fabric. Cut the fabric at least 6 inches beyond the original parameter. Hold the fabric tightly on the seat and use staple gun on every 2 inches. Use a new slip cover on the upholstered seats.
