Small rooms need only compact things for decoration. In small apartments and homes, we have only a small living room area to decorate . A living room holds is full of huge stuff. If you reduce any of that stuff from living room, it can definitely reduce its importance and charm. First of all we have to take care with the color scheme. If the size of room is small, then it is advised to use light colors. Light colors give us a feeling of wideness. You can use dark colors as well, but only with proper lightning. Proper lightning effect can give a welcoming feeling to the people who enter the room.

The second thing to consider is using the right furniture  in the room. The right choice can make a living room a perfect place. Armless chairs with smaller backs occupy less space, while larger backs may be preferred with a table in the middle. When shop for carpet or rugs, look for darker colors that contain patterns. Furniture should have the proper distance from the wall., and try not to keep things near windows and block the space. Smaller rooms usually have smaller windows, so try not to block them. On wall you can hang some small pictures. The size of LCD required is also smaller to be easily visible to the people watching.

The storage rack or cupboard is another important part of the living room. Keep a smaller rack and try to fit only necessary stuff in it. Necessary means that unused and less used items should be removed from here and only frequently required things are kept, and try not to overload the rack and create an eyesore.
