A room divider is a furniture piece or a screen placed in different ways to split a room into separate portions. Mostly, dividers are used by architects and interior designers to give a new fascinating look to a room. There are many reasons to use room dividers but most important one is to respect privacy of the kids. With the passage of time, the kids change their mentality, temperaments, tastes, attitude and many other things that should remain private and for that reason many parents use room dividers in a room to allot separate areas to the kids.

There are many materials and ways to make room dividers such as pipe and drape screens, walls and shoji screens and cubicle partitions. Usually kids like dark and rainbow colours, so it’s better to chose dark and different colours to give a funny look to a room. Patterns can also be used according to the taste and likeness of the kids. It is much better to ask the children about their favourite colours and then manage to select a divider that suits their requirements and the colour also matches their choice.
