Today, however, the idea of the bathroom as more than just a place to shower and shave has designers and homeowners coming up with some pretty amazing bathroom designs. If you want to take on this task with a limited budget, I’ve got a couple just for you. furniture
The first is about as simple and Zen as possible. Wall colors should be soft brown, ecru or tan – very neutral. Fixtures can remain whatever color they are. Floor, if tiled, needs soft ecru or white rugs. Carpeted floors can be handled with a long, beige or ecru runner. Shower curtains, towels and other linens can echo soft earth hues. Empty the countertops and other surfaces, leaving lots of open space. Then, gather rocks and branches. Place them in earth toned bowls and pottery jars all around the room. Items you need on the counter should be stored inside wicker or rattan. Hang a bamboo wind chime from the curtain rod and your Zen-style bath plan is complete. See. If you don’t like Zen, how about going wholesale country? You can use plaid for the curtains and lots of wooden accessories . Keep the cabinetry pine and the floors get braided rugs or woven ones. A few cute, whimsical animals holding toothbrushes and towels, and your bathroom is rustic and ready to use.
So, pick a makeover for your bathroom today. When you see how easy it is, you just might change your style on a regular basis. It’s a great idea, especially when the costs are kept low and you are your own designer.
