I bought a new valet stand. When I mentioned it to a friend, she was puzzled because she’d never heard of one in a home. She immediately thought of valet parking and wondered if I had a side business she didn’t know about! Fortunately, I was able to enlighten her as to how useful and attractive old-fashioned valet stands can be in our modern day world.My husband is a busy executive. He wears a suit, or dress slacks with a sports coat, almost every day. Having those expensive items of clothing dry cleaned each and every time he wears them is not practical.
